Taster sessions | programme description

Taster Sessions are afternoon sessions in the forest. These are guided walks where we will point out plants and fungi that can be eaten or used for practical purposes. We will also identify any poisonous species that we encounter. These sessions take about 3 to 4 hours dependent on the weather and are walked at an easy pace

The location of where to meet for the taster session will be sent to participants by email during the week before the session, as the site chosen will be dependent on the weather conditions prior to the date and the wild foods which are likely to be found at that time of year.

These sessions cost £25 with a 10% discount for parties of 4 or more.

We hope that after going on a taster afternoon you will be encouraged to come on one of our full day courses which will give you a much better grounding in foraging. Tasters should be regarded as a basic introduction to foraging rather than full instruction.
